Mission and Objective
Management Resources Institute's (MRI) mission is to develop and educate students to achieve their career potential. Our objective is to help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to operate more effectively in today's business environment. The programs offered not only provide technical competence, but also facilitate the development of attitudes necessary for students to achieve their full potential, secure financial reward, and advance their personal development.
History
Management Resources Institute was incorporated in 1996 in order to provide management consulting and human development to individuals and organizations seeking to improve their performance, in business as well as in their daily lives. MRI’s President and CEO, Ophelia Sanchez, has guided and expanded the company since its inception.
Philosophy
MRI makes a distinction between training and development: training teaches students new skills while development gets students to use the skills they learn more frequently and efficiently. The full benefits of any program are realized once the individuals have developed the frame of mind and behavior required to make the best use of the skills they just learned. Our institute emphasizes not only the Skills, but also the Attitudes and Goal Achievement required to be successful. MRI's Human Development programs stretch individuals to reach their full potential. Human behaviorists confirm that people work at only 3% to 25% of their potential. MRI assists its students in reaching their maximum potential.
